Sprenger Novocontact Double Jointed D-Ring 14 mm

Novocontact bits are designed to create a unique oval shape which widens the contact surface on the tongue while the rider keeps a steady contact. As the rider gives a rein aid the mouthpiece turns forward and the contact surface gets narrower, ensuring more precise and effective communication.

Double jointed Novocontact bits are also ideal to use on horses that occasionally tend to pull against the hand, but are too sensitive to be ridden with stronger bits.
 
The mouthpiece is made of Sensogan, an alloy of copper, manganese and zinc. This alloy has improved properties but also a completely new appearance. Unlike Aurigan, SENSOGAN oxidizes less violently and salivation is better regulated throughout the work session. In addition, it tarnishes less. The shine lasts longer and this alloy is easier to maintain than Aurigan.
